Dr. Payal Patel graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI with a B.S. in Biology. She went on to Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, FL where she received a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine.
She then completed a three-year residency at Beaumont Health – Farmington Hills in Michigan, where Dr. Patel had the privilege of serving as Chief Resident in her final year. While in residency, she received extensive training in forefoot and rearfoot surgery, advanced wound care, diabetic limb salvage, pediatrics and sports medicine.
She has also organized medical mission trips to Tegucigalpa, Honduras as a part of Operation Footprint, a non-profit organization focused on treating children with complex lower extremity deformities.
