Dr.Torgesen is originally from the Houston Texas area. After graduating from Brigham Young University, he attended the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, California where he received the degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. His fourth year of medical school was spent at Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center where he began his clinical training. He then went on to complete a two-year surgical residency at Northridge Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.
